Joseph T, Janes, 87, 0f Pinos Altos died Saturday morning in Hillcrest General Hospital. He came to this area 43 years ago and was a retired miner. He owned many mining claims In the Pinos Altos area. He issurvived by his wife, Flora; one sister, Mrs. Laura Beemish of Rochester, N. Y., and by six nephews. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Cox Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Wayne Douglasof the First Methodist Church of Silver City officiating. Graveside services were In charge of the Silver City Lodge No.8. AF&AM
