MONTICELLO — Ruth Price, 78,512 S.
Ravinea Park Dr., died at 8 p.m.
Wednesday at the home of her son,
George Price, Encinitas, Calif.
Born Nov. 13,1901, in Cass County,
she was the daughter of
Elmer and Mary Ann Welk Drummond.
She was married in 1922 to William
Mack Price, who died May 9,1961.
A resident of the Monticello area
most of her life, she had
retired as an employee at RCA after 25
years of service. She
was a member of the First Christian
Church of Monticello.
Surviving are five sons, John,
Security, Colo.; Gordon,
Wolcott; Elmer, Monticello; George,
Encinitas, Calif.; and
Paul, Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter,
Mary Burgard, Toledo, Ohio; one
sister, Margie Calloway, Logansport;
17 grandchildren and five great-grand
children.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Sunday at the Miller Voorhis Funeral
Home with the Rev. Randal Boys
officiating. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
