Alpha Louise Blalock died Tuesday in a Nampa hospital. She was born in Kendrick, Ida., to Axel Victor Swanson and Lena Martha (Brown) Swanson. She was reared and educated in Kendrick.

She was married to Joseph Earl Kulick on 25 April 1927 in Nez Perce County, Idaho. They divorced.

She married Harmon F. Blalock in 14 Ja. 1936 in Portland, Ore. They later moved to Emmett and in 1938 to Nampa. They farmed north of Napa for 20 years and later moved east of Nampa. She was a member of the Nampa Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband of Nampa; three sisters, Gloria Shoate of Moscow; Esther Souders of Kendrick and Alma Finke of Moscow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday in Nampa Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Emmett Cemetery.
