On October 25. 1859, she married Elijah Shaw in Rutland, Vermont.

Please note: Her Illinois Death Record has several errors in it - her maiden name, Cady, is improperly transcribed as Cody. Her father is Henry Cady who was born in New Hampshire, not England as listed, and her mother was Sophronia Jenne, born in Massachusetts, instead of the listed England.
