Services for Alton Adcock, 87, were held Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Allen and the Rev. Lloyd Adcock officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Adcock died Saturday, Nov. 22, in Rush Hospital in Meridian.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He was a longtime employee of U.S. Motors and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Macedonia Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elena Adcock of Philadelphia; one son, Norman Adcock of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Sam Stone, Mike Chandler, Phillip Willis, Mack Gilmer, Mike Harrison and Glen Smith.
