MR. W. R. BUCHANAN DEAD

Former Jefferson County Man Dies at HIs Home in Muncie

Mr. Worth R. Buchanan, 48 years of age, a former resident of Jefferson County, died suddenly this morning at 12:30 o'clock at his home near Muncie, relatives here were advised today.

Mr. Buchanan was a son of John W. and Mary Buchanan and was born in Ripley County, but spent most of his life in Jefferson County at the family home near Belleview. He had been living in Muncie for some time.

Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Bertha Demaree Buchanan, two daughters, Elinor and Helen and two sons, Gerald and Kenneth. He also leaves his mother, three brothers, Wilson and Richard of this county, Louis, at Muncie, and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Housefield, Jefferson County, and Mrs. Minnie Jolly, of Milan.

Funeral services and burial will be held at Muncie Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.
