Fred Cresson, 78, of Coello, died at 10:25 a.m. Saturday in Miners Hospital,
Christopher.
He had been a Franklin County resident the past 53 years. He was born Sept. 27,
1889. in France, son of Batiste and Mary Cresson. Mr. Cresson leaves his wife
the former Margarite Lucas, sons, Arthur and John, both of Chicago, and Jules of
West Frankfort; daughter, Mrs. Virginia Lawrence of Chicago; 22 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Virginia Theret of Coello.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Sesser
