Sig and Ruth Colvin married June 24, 1935, in Boulder and were blessed with three sons. He farmed in the Helena Valley, and had been employed by the railroad. Sig enjoyed gardening and fishing, and had been a member of the Harmony School Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Margaret Munson, Rachel James, and Gladys Wilson. Surviving Sigurd are his wife Ruth; sons Russell (Wanda) Munson of Cardwell, Stan (Margo) Munson of East Helena, and Ted (Kay) Munson of Great Falls; brothers Dan and Louise Munson and Sam and Helen Munson; sister Ruth Simmons; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
