All the Commissioned Officers in my company are present for duty. [signed] S. J. Tomb, Capt Comdg Co. (B) 18 S.C.V." [There was no addressee on this letter, but the docketing on the back indicates that it was sent to an officer commanding the 18th SC Infantry and then up through the ranks and approved by all.]
