Albert Schoepflin passed away August 6, 2008 at the Pullman Regional Hospital in Pullman, WA. He was born the youngest of 8 children, August 17, 1917 in Edwall, WA to Ernst and Anna Kröiss Schoepflin.

Albert moved to Farmington, WA with his family when he was 13 years old, where he graduated from Farmington High School.

He married Miriam Wagner November 19, 1942 in Farmington and they raised 2 sons.

Albert was a member of the Farmington Seventh-Day Adventist Church and served on the church's boards and offices. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Oakesdale Grain Growers and was a life long farmer in the area. Albert enjoyed the outdoors, raising baby Hereford cows, swimming and loved helping Miriam in their garden.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam Schoepflin at their home in Farmington; his two sons, Bill & Linda Schoepflin also of Farmington and David & Diane Schoepflin of Scottsdale, AZ; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert was preceded in death by all of his siblings and his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11 AM at the Farmington Seventh-Day Adventist Church with a vault interment to follow at the Farmington Cemetery. Bruning Funeral Home, Colfax, WA is caring for the family.
