FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A Fort Wayne man and his wife were killed late Friday as their car skidded on icy pavement on the U. S. 30 bypass northeast of Fort Wayne and collided head-on with an auto carrier.
Melvin B. Fulk, 47, and Esther E. Fulk, 46, were thrown from their car after the crash. The car bounced off the auto carrier and collided with another car, just missing another truck. The accident occurred during a heavy snow storm.
The auto carrier driver, Echo L. McCalla of South Bend, was not hurt.
