James Donald Creacy, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Jim was born July 15, 1932, in Pearl to Laughton Orville and Mima Keeton Creacy. He graduated from Evant High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Haliburton after 35 years. He was a member of Tabernacle Lodge 1195 and Edge Park United Methodist Church. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Linda. Survivors: Son, Mark Creacy and wife, Christy; daughter, Terri Faragher and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Cole Gutierrez, Mat Gutierrez and wife, Ashlee, Mark Creacy Jr., Jessica Gutierrez Mitchell and husband, James, and Megan Faragher; great-grandchildren, Mateson and Braylee Gutierrez; sisters, Glynis Miles and Betty Barnard and husband, Wayne; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
