Mary BAIRD was born in aboard the ship en route to America, 1853.

Mary Baird married Jess DALE on 3 Jan 1872 in Wisconsin; they were the parents of a son Johnny DALE born in c. 1872. Subsequently a daughter, was born in Oct 1874 to the Dales. Mary Baird Dale died apparently from childbirth at the age of 20 years old 13 Oct 1874 and her infant daughter died 30 Oct 1874.

Mary's husband Jess DALE died 25 Sep 1879 - on a return trip from New Ulm. Their son, Robert Johnny DALE lived with his grandparents Robert & Elizabeth BAIRD.

Mary is not listed on the inventory of graves done by Margaret and George Mullen on behalf of St Croix Historical Society in 1984; documented with cemetery records held by Bud Merriman at that time and with microfilm of Beldenville Cemetery Burial permits, 1915-198-, Reel M501-#4, found at University of Wisconsin-River Falls Area Research Center, and with River Falls Township records held by Mrs. Ed Hanson.
