Mrs. Mary Roach died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Harve Pittman, near Holly Springs, last Monday. She was the widow of James Roach, who was killed during the late Civil War. Mrs. Roach was about 72 years of age and was a sister of John F. Hillhouse of Too Ny and the mother of Mrs. Harve Pittman, Mrs. John Edwards, Mrs. James O'Connell and Elijah Roach. Her remains were interred at Salem graveyard on Tuesday. (Page 3 Col 5)
