A daughter of the late Felix and Margaretha Schwartz, nee Braun, she was born in Shiloh Valley Township on October 28, 1885. She married George W. Weil in Shiloh Valley Township on September 16, 1909.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Ada M., wife of the Rev, Henry Lippert, pastor of United Church of Christ at Tell City, Ind., a brother, Theodore Schwartz, Mascoutah, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Mrs. Weil was a member of the Women's Guild of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from St. John Church to Mascoutah City Cemetery. The Rev. John C. Riggs, pastor, will officiate. Friends may call at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, after 6:30 p.m. Monday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be taken to church.
