June Frances Blake, age 63, of Whiteville and Hampstead died at the Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born the daughter of the late Edward Dennis Atkinson and Margaret Justice Atkinson. Frances was a member of Whiteville United Methodist Church and retired with 25 years as a school teacher at Whiteville Primary School. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Murray Blake; four children, Jennifer Columby, Jeff Blake, Deborah Taylor, and Rex Blake and wife Wendy; five grandchildren, Maggie Blake, Zachary Blake, Peyton Taylor, Blake Columby, and Nicholas Blake. Two sisters, Joyce Shrake, and Iris Nedwidek.
