Janice L. McDonald, 67, of Stuart, died Thursday April 24, 2013, at home. Graveside services were held Saturday at Rock Creek Cemetery with Kelley Benson officiating. Burial followed at Rock Creek Cemetery in Stuart. Arrangements were under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. She was born Nov. 22, 1945, to Cleatus and Thelma (Royster) Clifft. She was raised in Stuart and also graduated from Stuart High School. After high school she attended beauty school. She was away from Stuart for many years and returned in 1993. She married Ron McDonald on Sept. 14, 1991, in Yell County, Ark. She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed fishing, shopping and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Ron McDonald, of the home; daughter Misti Wylie Johnson, of Stuart; son Kyle Wylie, of Stuart; brother Gene Clifft, of Stuart, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleatus and Thelma (Royster) Clifft ,and her brother, Jerry Clifft.
