esteemed an honest & able Physician, who in ye various connections of life, discharged the duties of a Christian, in such a manner as afforded a happy retrospect thro' a lingering consumption & on May 9th AD 1786 in ye 37th year of his age calmly resign'd his breath. He left a widow & five sons, to lament the loss of a friend indeed.
