Born July 20, 1919, in Adams County, he was the son of the late Paul C. and Blanche M. (McKim) Neiderer.
Bob was the former owner/operator of Dance Land in McSherrystown and retired from A&H Cycle Co. in McSherrystown. He was veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, a charter member of McSherrystown Fish and Game Assoc., and a member of the PA State American Legion - Foreign Wars.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Klunk and her husband, Ken of Hanover, and Diane Hoffman and her husband, Ray of York; one stepson, Harry L. Walter of Gettysburg; two stepdaughters, Judy Temme and her husband, Frank of Gettysburg, and Karen Bowling and her husband, Keith of McKnightstown; two grandsons, David Klunk and Doug Klunk; one granddaughter, Janelle Walter; three step-grandsons, Harry C. "Kit" Walter, Mark F. Temme, and Andrew T. Temme; eight great-grandchildren, Aimee, Lindsay, Tarin, Caitlin, David, Jonas, Danielle, and Robert; two step greatgrandchildren, Shanna and William; three great-greatgrandchildren, KayLynn, Micaela, and Ethan; and a brother, Richard J. Neiderer of Hanover.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred E. Adams; and four brothers, Rodney P., Donald J., Albert, and Francis J. "Whitey" Neiderer.
The funeral service and burial will be private. Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, is handling the arrangements.
