Louis(Louie)J. Karl, 59, Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Green Bay died Monday, March 23, 2009. He was born November 24, 1949 to Lorraine(Daubner)Karl and the late Virgil Karl in Green Bay. Louie was employed for many years in the trucking industry as a driver and recently training director for Southwest Trucking School in Phoenix. He spent many years bartending and owned his own tavern. Louie will be sadly missed by many who loved him and knew him. Survivors include his wife, Lori; his daughters, Bobbie Jo (Brian)Crocker and Trisha; a stepdaughter, Cassandra Kulhanek; stepsons, Jeremy(Jessica)Zimmerman and Mitch(Cassandra)DuFresne; his mother, Lorraine Karl; his brothers, Tim(Lori Ann) and Skip(Sparky), a sister-in-law, Ann; nieces, Chelsea and Lindsey; a nephew, Joshua; and other friends and relatives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Squeak and a sister Kitty Karl. Friends may call after 4 pm Thursday, April 2, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where the funeral service will take place at 7 pm with the Rev. Steve Fewell officiating.
