Wilma Hildebrand, 92, of Platte, SD passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Platte Care Center. Funeral Services are 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Mount Funeral Home in Platte. A Committal Service will follow at the Old Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Monday.

Wilma (Brill) Hildebrand was born on July 10, 1920 to Bryan and Ruby (Burnham) Brill in the Platte, SD area. She was one of six children and spent her childhood and attended school in the Platte area. On December 12, 1938 she was united in marriage to Ralph Hildebrand. They lived on several farms and in the communities of Platte, Academy, and Kimball before returning to Platte to retire. Wilma's life revolved around being a wife, mother, and grandmother with the greatest love of her life being young children. She also had a passion for music and in her younger days she played piano in a Roadhouse Band in the area. Wilma was a devout Christian and shared her faith with her family and so many individuals.

Wilma Hildebrand, 92, spent the last several years of her life receiving outstanding care in the Platte Care Center. The love and compassion that she received during this stay is very much appreciated by her family.

Wilma and Ralph were blessed with seven children: Donna (Nellis) Hoing of Kimball, Roberta (Fay) Jandreau of Kennebec, Larry (Karen) Hildebrand of Kimball, Judy (Jerry) Konechne of Kimball, Ellen Hildebrand of Menno, Mary Lou (Paul) Loneman of Menno, and Deb (Kurt) Hansen of Sioux Falls. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters: Esther Girton of Hot Springs, Fern Wagner of Platte, and Maxine Brill of Edgemont; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Ralph; son, Larry; daughter, Judy; great-grandchild, Bridger Jandreau and two brothers: Art Brill and Melvin "Bud" Brill.
