He died in Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

He was a son of Frank and Charlotte Williams Jenne. He attended Russell schools.

He married Juanita M. Flanders on Dec. 24, 1935. She died Nov. 9, 1967.

He married Ruth Hatch Brothers on June 20, 1970 at St. Patrick's Church, Brasher Falls,.

He operated Red Jennes Barber Shop in Winthrop for 25 years.

An avid fisherman who loved the Adirondack area, he was a member of the Derrick Tract Hunting Club, Tupper Lake.

Surviving was his wife; two sons, Duane J., Dairy, Oregon, and Francis R. Jr., Potsdam; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Demo, Norwood, and Mrs. Thomas (Sharon Anne) Tyo, Rochester; four stepsons, Harold Brothers, Massena; Clifford Brothers, Ocala, FL; Vernon Brothers, Ithaca; and Clyde Brothers, Saginaw, MI; two stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Joan) Majer, Canton, and Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Page, Massena; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four brothers, Jerome, Roy and Bernard, all of Russell, and Leo, Dexter.
