She was the daughter of Charles Ahrendt and Pamelia Farlin Ahrendt. Her first marriage was to Charles F. Wade. On January 16, 1906 as Louella Ahrendt Wade, she married Edward R. Highfield (1870-1932) at Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. On August 21, 1917 as Louella Ahrendt, she married George Hembury at King County, Washington.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Hembury, 88, of 1266 Northwest 191st Street, were today at the Home Undertaking Co., with cremation following. She died Sunday at her home. A native of Illinois, Mrs. Hembury came here 50 years ago. Her husband, George, died in 1952.

A daughter, Mrs. Florence Murphy, Seattle and a granddaughter survive.
