Floyd Bernard, Briarcliff Manor, a retired policeman, died Saturday morning. Mr. Bernard was born in Gardiner in 1886 and was the son of John and Mary Bernard.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Bishop Bernard; a son, Gould, Berkley [sic], Cal.; two brothers, Abram of Gardiner and John of Binghamton; four sisters, Flora, East Jewett, Annie, Palenville, Grace and Emma, Walden; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church at Briarcliff Manor, Tuesday morning.
Burial was in the New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
