The funeral of Mrs. Clarence Koch, who died June 3, was held at the residence two miles west of the Poor Farm, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Services were conducted by Rev. Shellenberger of the Christain (sic) church of Fairbury. Deceased was a member of the Christian church.
Clara Pickens was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Pickens, who live south of Powel in this county. She was born January 27, 1888 in this county; was married to Clarence Koch, June 3, 1908. She leaves 3 children, Ruth, aged 5, Wesley, aged 2 and Harriet, aged 11 months; also both parents, three brothers and three sisters. Mesdames Baum and Simpson and Messrs Holliday and Abrams sang at the funeral. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery.
