Found in The State 29 August 1925: Interment services for Mrs. Caroline Hampton Darby Frost of Charleston, who died in Baltimore, Md., Wednesday, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Trinity Episcopal church cemetery by the Rev. G. Croft Williams, pastor of St. John's Episcopal church. Interment was in the Darby family plot in Trinity churchyard. Mrs. Frost had been taken to Baltimore for treatment but died Wednesday, and her body was brought to her former home for burial. Mrs. Frost, who was Miss Caroline Hampton Darby, was born in Paris, France, where her parents had gone after the Confederate war. She later returned to American and lived in Columbia. She was married to H. W. Frost, cotton dealer at Charleston. Mrs. Frost was a woman of unusual charm which gained her many friends throughout the state. She was a member of the Episcopal church. Mrs. Frost is survived by her husband, by a sister, Mrs. Mayo Read of Charleston, and by a brother, J. P. Darby, secretary of the South Carolina Railroad commission, Columbia.
