Faye Spurlock Oyler, 89, of Bay, Ark., died Aug. 22, 2002, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Born in Hardy, Ark., she lived most of her life in Bay. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bay Church of Christ.
Survivors are one daughter, LaFon Oyler Aker of Brook-haven, Miss.; one son, Glenn Oyler of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, ....; and six great-grandchildren, ........
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Oyler; and by a grandson, Michael Oyler.
Services were Aug. 24, 2002, at the Bay Church of Christ with Marvin Rickett officiating. A graveside burial service was held in the Shiloh Cemetery near Ash Flat, with arrangements under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
