She was born on November 19, 1921, in the McIlroy community in Randolph County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Albert Isaac and Charity Virginia Lamb Romines.
On August 31, 1940, Elewese Romines married Lowell Rose in Lawrence County, Arkansas. A son and a daughter were born to them.
Her husband, J. Lowell Rose, of the home was still living when Elewese died.
Funeral services were held on Friday, October 27, 2000, in the Chapel of the McNabb Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
