First wife of Michael McCoy (1852-1916). Sarah and Michael were married on February 7, 1869 in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana. Sarah was the daughter of David Blocher and Elizabeth (Beck) Blocher. Sarah was the mother of at least five children with Michael including: twins Edward and Neddie McCoy, William Francis McCoy, John McCoy and Mary McCoy. Sarah died about four days after giving birth to her daughter, Mary.
