Laura was the daughter of William August Nickolai and Hulda Marie Fratzke Nickolai.

She married Leo J. Malson on November 14, 1942 in Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro Wisconsin.

Uncle Louie was one of the neatest people I have ever known She couldn't have chose better for herself.

She had three brothers, Albert Arthur Nickolai, Herbert Nickolai & Arthur Nickolie, 2 sisters, Ella Reetz & Hertha Nickolie Knutson.
