Walter A. Reynolds, only son of Chas. and Lizzie Reynolds was born in Wayne Co. IA May 15, 1880 and departed this life at the Dalles, Ore; at Feb 4, 1927 at the age of 47 years, 8 months, and 9 days. He came to Putnam County when quite young. He was married to Eva M. Rash, Sept 3, 1899. God blessed this union with one little son who brightened their home for nearly five years, then took its flight to Realms of God to make brighter the glory of High Heaven. In 1918 he moved to Dallies, Ore. where he transferred to the Christian Church and taught a class of boys for 4 years. In 1918 they adopted a little niece and gave her the benefit of a loving father and mother. He leaves to mourn his untimely departure his father, C.W. Reynolds, his sister, Mrs Chloie Schafer; his sorrowing wife, and little daughter Mildred Reynolds and also an adopted brother, Carl Reynolds.
