He was a retired conductor for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.

Surviving siblings: sisters, Mrs Guy Dixon of Columbia, MO., and Mrs Raymond Bowlin of De Soto; brothers, Joe of Pontiac, MI., and Jim, Edward and Howard all of De Soto. He was also a survived by a son of Beulah, Wyoming.

Services were held at the Van Natta Funeral Home.
