John N. was buried the 22nd of August 1925. His young son, Ara Arthur Baker, born 6 September 1878 Ft. Ritner, Lawrence County, Indiana was killed in a freak accident on 15 March 1879 in the Ft. Ritner area. On the family's way home from Church a tree branch caught on the Oxen Harness and when it snapped loose it flew back stricking Ara, cradled in his mother's arms. My Grandfather, Granville Grant Baker, was driving the team and he carried that saddness all of his life. Ara's burial place has not yet {2011} been located. E.Margaret Baker
