Marriage solemnized July 5, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. Retired after 20 years of service from Associated Foods. Served faithfully in many calling for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including temple worker at the St. George and Jordan River Temple. Employed as produce manager at Griffin's Market in Escalante. Survived by children Carol Jean (LaRelle) Jones, Maureen (Roger) Crump, Max Lloyd (Claudia) Porter, Jr., Dennis (Ellen) Porter, Laraine (Doug) Davis, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by wife, Shirley, a brother and a sister. Services held at the Escalante 1st Ward.
