Alice Johnson McMichael, 81, a lifelong resident of Grantsville, died of a heart ailment on November 11, 1967, in the Tooele Valley Hospital. She was born on January 23, 1886, in Grantsville to Charles and Anna Olson Johnson.
She married Robert V. McMichael on August 3, 1907, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. McMichael died October 21, 1909.
Mrs. McMichael was an active member of the LDS Church where she took part in the Relief Society and in the Mutual organizations.
She is survived by her son, R. Theron McMichael, Grantsville and three grandchildren. Mrs John (Pat) Acker, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. James (Lana) Magelby, Sacramento, California; Mrs. Jay (Linda) Hammond, Seattle, Washington. One sister, Mabel Johnson also survives.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Grantsville Stake Center. Burial was in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
