Leonard Earl Wood, 82, Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, after an extended illness. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wood is survived by two sons; three daughters; three sisters; one brother; 5 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Wood, and a daughter, Phyllis Ann Wood. Pallbearers will include grandsons. Mr. Wood was retired from Southern Tire Co. after many years of service. He was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church. Mr. Wood was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. Greenview Funeral Home of Florence is directing.
