- Mrs. Eliza Jane Hickok, wife of Harpan [typo] P. Hickok, died at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the Home hospital after undergoing an operation for the removal of gall stones.
She was born March 3, 1854, and had resided in this county for twenty-eight years. She is survived by a husband and three children, Mrs. Oscar Sherry, of Francesville, and Mrs. [typo] Emma Hickok and John H. Hickok, of this city. She was a member of Triumph Rebekah Lodge No. 291 and Lafayette Assembly of Loyal Americans. She was admired for her womanly qualities and had a great many friends.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence, 110 South Sixth street, tomorrow, but the hour has not been fixed. The interment will be made in Springvale cemetery.
