Darlington- Emma J. Olson, age 83, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 1986, unexpectedly at her home. She was born in Fayette Township on February 6, 1903, the daughter of Hans and Anna Marie (Kammerude) Anderson. She was married on November 29, 1922, in Argyle, Wis. to Gilman E. Olson. She lived in the Darlington area all of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Gilman at home; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Brunkow, Darlington; three sons, Richard and Roger, both of Darlington, and Gerald of Belmont; a half brother, Arthur Jacobson of Footville; and a half sister, Mrs. Bonnie Finley of Darlington. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a half brother, George Jacobson, and four half sisters, Pearl Schutte, Ella Slawson, Alma Rohr, and Olga Pruess.

She was a charter member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington and its ALCW.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1986 at the Grace Lutheran Church with burial in Union Grove Cemetery.
