Graveside services for Carl E. Kiser, 86, of Adair will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 2:00 PM at Benge Cemetery in Adair. Pastor Joel Godard will officiate. Carl passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Tulsa. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.

Carl Edward Kiser was born on July 22, 1926 in Richland Township, Iowa to Ira Curtis and Eva Lena (Manly) Kiser. He grew up and attended school in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He married Pearl Marie Clopton on July 2, 1945 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. They made their home in Iowa and in Missouri then later moved to Tulsa in 1966. Carl worked for Telex in Tulsa then later for American Airlines. He retired from American Airlines in 1985 and he and Pearl moved to their lake home in Adair where they have remained.

Carl loved to fish and work with wood as well as gardening and caring for his yard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adair and also the Lions Club in Adair.
