Orville BUCKHEISTER, 72, 10347 East Indiana 14, Akron, died at 3:40 p.m. Friday at Life Care Center of Rochester.

He was born in Wabash County to Robert and Mildred CUNNINGHAM BUCKHEISTER. On April 16, 1944 in Akron he married Lula A. YARIAN, who survives. He retired from Sonoco Products, Akron, in June 1988. He was a member of the Akron Church of God, the Goldenaires at the church and the Sonoco Oldtimers group.

Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Rose) KINDIG, Claypool; Mrs. Robert (Nancy) BILTZ, Edison, Ohio, and Diane CUMBERLAND; six grandchildren, Jerry KINDIG II, Lisa FLECK, Aaron KINDIG, Rachel BILTZ, Veronica BILTZ and Robert BILTZ III, and four great-grandchildren, Jerry KINDIG III and Cassandra, Cory and Craig FLECK.

Preceding in death were two brothers and one sister.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor James MALBONE officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
