SHANNON, III, Marcus LeeAge 81, December 27, 2010. He was a teacher and administrator in the Metro Nashville School System. He also taught at Vanderbilt during his retirement. Survived by sons, Marcus Shannon IV (Tamala), Lynwood Shannon (Jennifer); 3 grandchildren; niece and nephews. Visitation will be 12 Noon until the memorial service at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the St. George's Episcopal Church.
