Wife of Frank E. Knight

Obituary:
Mrs. Fanny Knight died at her home in New York City last Friday night. Mrs. Knight was formerly Miss Fanny Beck, a daughter of the late Dr. E. W. H. Beck, of this city. She was born in Delphi in 1859 and was 41 years of age at the time of her death. She was married about fifteen years ago to Mr. Frank E. Knight, of Lafayette. After their marriage they lived in that city for about two years, when they went, to New Jersey and lived in Patterson until about two years ago, when they moved to New York City, where Mr. Knight is engaged in business. Mrs. Knight's death resulted from a deep seated tumor in the brain, supposed to have been caused by an accident many years ago while with a sleigh riding party at Lafayette. In her girlhood days, when she lived in Delphi, there was no young lady in Delphi more popular than Fanny Beck. She was bright, vivacious and enjoyed exceptional musical talent. This talent was highly cultivated and she graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music. She never lost interest in her musical studies. The remains were brought to Delphi last night and the funeral services will take place this afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Parker, of the Baptist church. The remains will be laid to rest in the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
