Ivan Perry, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Perry of Toponas died last Friday morning of pneumonia. He had been ill only a short time and his death was a severe shock to his family and friends.
Deceased was a fine young man 21 years of age and was living with his parents at their ranch about two miles east of Toponas. The Perry family came to Routt county about three years ago and purchased a large tract of land and engaged in stockraising business. Besides his parents, deceased leaves a brother and two sisters to mourn his loss.
The funeral was held from the Congregational church Sunday afternoon and the remains were buried at the Yampa cemetery.
