FIRST MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Mary Adams, living east of this place, died Monday afternoon about four o’clock. She was a devoted mother, a loving sister and a kind neighbor. Though we miss her presence here we know she is sweetly resting in her eternal home.
We miss thee from our home, dear mother,
We miss thee from thy place;
A shadow o’er our life is cast,
We miss thy kind sweet face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy fond and earnest care;
Our home is dark without thee –
We miss thee everywhere.
How peaceful is thy silent grave
We know thou art at rest
With Jesus and the angles dwell,
He doeth all tings best. [A FRIEND.]
