Greta F. King, age 81, long time Albuquerque resident, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Sunday, March 31, 2013, after a long illness.
Greta was born on February 11, 1932 to Adam and Berta Farber in Kassel, Germany.
Greta is survived by her children, Patreesa L. King of Albuquerque, Robert F. King and his wife, Anna of Sandia Park, NM, Diana Alexander and her husband, George of San Angelo, TX, Curtis F. King Jr. of Albuquerque and Wayne L. King and his wife, Stephanie of Folsom, NM, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Greta was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Curtis F. King in 2005. Greta was an accomplished interior decorator and florist. Greta will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Greta will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Greta will be laid to rest with her husband at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
