Mary Copeland is the 4th child (of five) born to Thomas and Eliza (Hodges) Copeland. She is the twin to Joseph Copeland. Mary married Seth Henry Brettun on Jan 17, 1859. Together they have five children: Ruth (Jan 16, 1860), Robert (Mar 15, 1862), William (Feb 14, 1864), Harriet Maria (Jun 25, 1866) and Channing (Apr 18, 1869).
