Music for the service consisted of two vocal duets by Rev. and Mrs. Neal Bonner, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lyle Bonner. Those in charge of the flora] offerings were Mrs, Walter Bichel, Mrs. Simon Stille and Mrs. George Swinney. Pallbearers were Ferdinand Roenfeldt, John Herr, Henry Fieselman, William Peters and Hans Peters.
The body was laid to rest In the Glenwood cemetery,
Anna Catherine Woebke Pein was born April 3, 1860 at Alveslohe, Holstein, Germany. At the age of 31 she arrived in
America and lived at St. Louis, Missouri for two years. In 1994 she was united in marriage to Henry H. Pein, Sr., at Old
Pscific, Iowa. This union was blessed with one daughter, Wilhelmine, who died in 1899 in her third year.
The deceased has been in failing health for the past five years, being bedfast since the first of this year. She passed away May 18, at 10 p. m. in the country home on the Henry Pein, jr, farm, having reached the age of 81 years, one month and 10 days.
She is survived by her husband, her brother, Henry Woebke of Germany, two step children, Henry Pein, Jr. and Anna Hansen, both of Glenwood.
