He had the following siblings: Elvira Jane who married Alexander Thompson; Calvin who married Charlotte Martin; Austin who married Malissa Cordery; Mary Ann who married Jeffery Beck; Nancy Elmira who married Joseph Watkins; Joseph who married Martha Scott; Lewis who married Susie Woods; William H. who married Martha Horn; and Mary Emeline who married Francis Scott.
