Ronald A Brunnert Sr., 66 of St. Charles died Oct. 15, 203, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. He was born Nov. 6, 1936, to Frank and Sophie Gaydos) Brunnert in St. Louis.
Mr. Brunnert was an agent for AETNA Insurance for more than 20 years. He was a graduate of the St. Louis University school of Commerce and Finance, founder and former president of Fort Belle Fontaine Historical Society, a charter Member and co-founder of the Wednesday Navy of Carlyle Sailing Association in Carlyle, Ill., and a former Eagle Scout and scout master of Troop 187.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Juergens) Brunnert of St. Charles; on son, Ronald A Jr. of Foristell; two daughters Christine A Meler of Columbia and Catherine A Marler of St. Peters; and six grandchildren.
He was preceed in death by his parents.
A funeral Mass was Oct. 18 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in St. Charles with burial in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials may be to Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1100 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, Iowa 52003.
