Funeral services for Rita A. Ivy, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home in Jeffersonville with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Salem Crossing.
She was a native of Lawrenceburg and a member of St. Augustine Church. She was a former teller for the old Citizen's Fidelity Bank in Louisville and Citizen Trust Bank. She also worked as a clerk for Hanger's Pharmacy.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele D. "Shelly" Whitson, of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Karrie Lynn McAfee of USAF March AFB and Bryan Whitson, of Jeffersonville; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Allen Ivy; her parents, Joseph and Viola Hartman; and her brothers, Donald J. Hartman Sr. and Louis E. Hartman.
